Mission, Vision, and Values
Mission Statement
Todo Es Latin Jazz aims to bring people together through vibrant, rhythm-driven music rooted in Afro-Caribbean and Brazilian traditions.
Our diverse, woman-fronted ensemble blends original compositions and beloved classics inspired by artists like Cal Tjader, celebrating the rich cultural lineage of Latin jazz. Through joyful performances and educational engagement, we invite audiences of all backgrounds to experience the beauty, history, and connection that lives within these rhythms.
Vision Statement
We envision a world where Latin jazz continues to grow as a living, inclusive art form that connects communities across cultures and generations.
By becoming a beloved fixture in the Seattle music scene and beyond, we hope to inspire curiosity about the instruments, traditions, and stories behind the music while creating spaces where audiences feel energized, connected, and uplifted.
Core Values
Music is a shared human language. Our performances create spaces where people from all backgrounds can gather, celebrate, and feel a sense of belonging.
We believe music is an opportunity to learn. By highlighting the history and origins of instruments and rhythms, we invite listeners of all ages to deepen their understanding of Latin jazz.
Our band reflects the richness of different cultures and perspectives. We believe that diverse voices strengthen creativity and deepen the music we create together.
